Brian Frank holds a BSc in Math and Physics from the University of Witswatersrand in South Africa and a BEd from University of South Africa.

He enjoyed many years as science and mathematics teacher and Deputy Headmaster at Northcliff High School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He spent some time as manager of South African Expo for Young Scientists, the national science fair. As headmaster of Yeshiva College in Johannesburg, he participated in a number of courses in Israel, and decided to make aliyah.
