ALUMNI EVENTS

We have just started organizing new "Chapters" across the United States. Chapters are Networking Groups that will help ensure the growth of AMHSI. The first one to be established was the Miami/Dade Chapter. We are proud to announce the formation of a new local Broward county chapter. Returning to its roots, this chapter will focus on community outreach and education in the Broward community. It will also coordinate local Alumni activities.

"AMHSI was the life-changing, life-shaping experience that inspired me to live the life that I am living today," says Karen Barr, C.P.A., alum, and Davie community activist. "I can’t think of a more important, more unique academic experience for teenagers to have. HSI prepared me for college and promoted a sense of confidence and independence that set the stage for me socially and academically." AMHSI, or HSI, as many alumni refer to it, has graduated nearly 20,000 students over the last 37 years. Broward has consistently been a leading supporter of this program with over 2,000 alumni to date in this county alone, and that number is growing each day.

For more information contact AMHSI Director of Admissions to Broward County, Lesli Rosenblatt at 954-610-5154 or lrosenblatt@amhsi.org. For more information on AMHSI Chapters, contact Marilynn Rothstein at mrothstein@amhsi.org or 954-575-5680.

Attention all AMHSI Alumni in the Greater Washington Area: You're invited to attend events with the Young Professionals group at Adas Israel (YP@AI). YP@AI is a group geared towards 21-35 year olds in the Greater Washington area and is an opportunity for young professionals to meet and socialize with friends ― singles can meet singles, young couples can meet young couples, newcomers can connect with other newcomers ― and you don't have to be a member of Adas Israel to attend events! As AMHSI Alumni, you are invited to attend upcoming YP@AI events! Call your friends and have a great time! (*and be sure to mention you are an AMHSI Alum when attending).
