Sharona Liman, Educator

Sharona Liman was born in Kfar-Sava, Israel in 1970. She is the third of four children to parents who made Aliyah as part of a Zionist group in 1963. The language spoken at home was and still is English.
Sharona began hiking in a youth hiking club when she was 14 years old. After her military service (in the "Nahal") she decided to turn hiking and touring into her profession. Sharona spent the next four years studying "The Land of Israel Studies" at Beit-Berl College, graduating in 1996 with a teaching certificate and a tour guide license. Sharona has been guiding ever since. Sharona joined our staff in 2008
Sharona lives in Kfar Sava, with her husband, Chaim, and her 2 children: Tavor (age 6) and Bental (age 2.5). Yes, they are both named after mountains.
