Every AMHSI session has its highlights:

September

• Witness and participate in the many important Holidays celebrated in Israel (Rosh HaShannah, Succot, Simchat Torah, Yom Kippur).
• Semester finals not given this session.
• Students can take PSAT in Israel.

December

• Celebrate Chanukah in the land of the Maccabees.
• Winter break means 25% less sequential work.
• Enjoy Israel's moderate winter weather.

February

• Great session for Seniors. A perfect cure for "senioritis".
• Moderate winter weather and welcoming in spring.
• Celebrate Purim.
• Home in time for proms and graduation.
• Semester finals not given this season.

April

• Leave right after Passover and finish your school year in Israel.
• Shavuot (depending on calendar dates).
• Terrific springtime weather!
• Israel Memorial Day.
• Celebrate Israel's Independence Day.
• AP review classes and exams given.
• SAT exam given in Israel.
• At your option, extend your stay in Israel into your summer vacation.

Summer

• Many extra activities such as water sports and camel rides.
• Visit Eilat and snorkel in the Red Sea - only offered in the summer.
• No 'Sequential Studies'/General Studies subjects.
• More free time to explore on your own.
• Poland/Prague optional add-on.
• 6 and 7 week sessions.
