Monica Krebs, Spanish, Psychology & Sociology

Spanish, Psychology & Sociology Teacher

Monica Krebs was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and made Aliyah in 1989 together with her husband and their two daughters. Two years later they became members of kibbutz Nir Eliyahu, in the Sharon region, where they still live today.

Monica’s first love, languages, led her to complete an MA in Spanish/English translation in Argentina, where she studied the art of language teaching for several years. Her second love, psychology, guided her into a BA in Psychology at the Buenos Aires University, a BA in Social Work at Tel Aviv University, and an MSc in Critical Psychology at Bolton University, England.

Since 1997 Monica has been teaching mainly Spanish, but also Psychology and Sociology at the Alexander Muss High School. Presently, she also works as a trilingual translator and interpreter for several institutions and she coordinates multilingual therapeutic groups at absorption centers and shelters in Israel.
